Cerium Oxide Introduction:
Cerium oxide is a kind of inorganic substance, chemical formula for CeO2, light yellow or yellowish brown powder. Density 7.13g/cm3, melting point 2397℃, insoluble in water and alkali, slightly soluble in acid. Under the temperature of 2000℃ and the pressure of 15MPa, cerium oxide can be reduced by hydrogen to obtain cerium trioxide. When the temperature is free between 2000℃ and the pressure is free at 5MPa, cerium oxide is yellowish with red and pink. Its performance is to do polishing material, catalyst, catalyst carrier (auxiliaries), uv absorbent, fuel cell electrolyte, automobile exhaust absorbent, electronic ceramics, etc.
Cerium oxide Usage :
1.Oxidant. Catalysts for organic reactions. Iron and steel are analyzed as rare earth metal standard samples. REDOX titration analysis. Decolorizing glass. Glass enamel sunscreen. Heat resistant alloy.
2.It can be used as additive in glass industry, as grinding material for plate glass, and can also be used in cosmetics to resist ultraviolet rays. Has been extended to glasses glass, optical lens, picture tube grinding, decolorization, clarification, the absorption of ultraviolet light of glass and electronic line.
Cerium oxide polishing powder E series:
E series is a red cerium oxide grinding powder used for cold processing of optical lenses, glasses, optoelectronics and other industries.
