Lithium carbonate Introduction:

Lithium carbonate is a kind of inorganic compound, chemical formula Li2CO3, molecular weight 73.89, colorless monoclinic crystal, soluble in water, dilute acid, insoluble in ethanol.  Carbonates with lower thermal stability than other elements of the same group in the periodic table, not deliquescent in air, can be obtained by adding sodium carbonate to lithium sulfate or lithium oxide solution.  Its aqueous solution through carbon dioxide can be converted into acid salt, boiling hydrolysis. Used as raw materials for ceramics, glass, ferrite, etc., components spray silver paste, etc.  

Lithium carbonate Usage：

Lithium carbonate can be used for lithium compound and enamel, glass manufacturing, is the raw material of lithium compound and lithium metal, can be used as electrolytic bath additive in aluminum smelting.  Widely used in glass, ceramics, food and other industries, can also be used in synthetic rubber, dyes, semiconductors, TELEVISION, atomic energy, catalysts and other aspects.  Used for making acoustic grade single crystal, optical grade single crystal.  

Battery grade lithium carbonate is mainly used to prepare lithium cobalt acid, lithium manganese acid, ternary materials and lithium iron phosphate and other lithium ion battery cathode materials.  

High purity lithium carbonate is mainly used in the preparation of high-end lithium ion battery cathode material and battery grade lithium fluoride preparation;  In photoelectric information, high purity lithium carbonate is used to prepare lithium tantalate and lithium niobate.  At the same time, high purity lithium carbonate is also used in optical special glass, magnetic material industry and super capacitor.
