Potassium carbonate Introduction:
Potassium carbonate is a kind of inorganic substance, chemical formula is K2CO3, molecular weight is 138.206, white crystalline powder, density 2.428g/cm3, melting point 891℃. Soluble in water, aqueous solution is alkaline, insoluble in ethanol. Hygroscopicity is strong, exposure to air can absorb carbon dioxide and water, into potassium bicarbonate, should be sealed packaging.
Potassium carbonate Usage:
Inorganic industry for the manufacture of sodium potassium tartrate, potassium aluminofluoride, potassium thiocyanate, titanium dioxide.
Enamel industry used for enamel powder preparation, to enhance its leveling, add glass to play a role in melting, and improve glass transparency and refraction coefficient.
The dye industry is used to manufacture yindantu forest, disperse red 3B, reductive ash M, etc. Dyeing industry used for VAT dyeing and ice dyeing whitening. The rubber industry is used to make 4010 antiaging agents.
The wool wool industry is used for cooking cotton and degreasing wool.
Potassium carbonate is one of the important basic inorganic chemical and light industrial raw materials, mainly used in the production of optical glass, welding electrode, electronic tube, TELEVISION picture tube, bulb, printing and dyeing, dyes, inks, photographic drugs, paohua alkali, polyester, electroplating, leather, ceramics, building materials, crystal, potash fertilizer soap.
Used as gas adsorbent, dry powder fire extinguishing agent, rubber anti-aging agent. It is also used to remove carbon dioxide from fertiliser syngas. It can also be used as a potash fertilizer. With the development of high and new technology, the application of potassium carbonate in detergent additives, monosodium glutamate, food and other fields is also expanding day by day.
Potassium carbonate is mainly used in the manufacture of potassium glass, potassium fertilizer soap and other inorganic chemicals, as well as for the removal of hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide in industrial gas, but also for welding electrode, ink manufacturing, printing and dyeing industry and other aspects.
