Sodium hexametaphosphate Introduction:
Sodium hexametaphosphate is a kind of inorganic substance, the molecular formula is (NaPO3)6, white powder crystal, or colorless transparent glass flake or block solid. Soluble in water, insoluble in organic solvents. Hygroscopicity is very strong, dew placed in the air can gradually absorb water and appear sticky. It can form soluble complex with calcium, magnesium and other metal ions. It is widely used in food and industry.
Sodium hexametaphosphate Usage:
1, mainly used in food and industrial industry. The main applications in the food industry are:
(1) Sodium h6-metaphosphate used in meat products, fish sausage, ham, etc., can improve water retention, increase adhesion, prevent fat oxidation;
(2) Used in soybean sauce, soy sauce can prevent discoloration, increase viscosity, shorten the fermentation period, adjust the taste;
(3) Used in fruit drinks, cool drinks, can improve juice rate, increase viscosity, inhibit the decomposition of vitamin C;
(4) Used for ice cream can improve expansion capacity, increase volume, enhance emulsification to prevent paste damage, improve taste and color;
(5) Used for dairy products and drinks to prevent gel precipitation;
(6) Adding beer can clarify the liquor and prevent turbidity;
(7) Used in beans, canned fruits and vegetables, can stabilize the natural pigment, protect the color of food;
(8) Sodium hacietaphosphate aqueous solution sprayed on preserved meat can improve the anti-corrosion performance.
2. Industrial sectors mainly include:
(1) Sodium h6-metaphosphate can be heated with sodium fluoride to produce sodium monofluorophosphate, which is an important industrial raw material;
(2) sodium hexametaphosphate as a softening agent, such as used in dyeing and finishing, play a role in softening water;
(3) As a scale inhibitor, sodium hmetaphosphate is also widely used in EDI (resin electrodialysis), RO (reverse osmosis), NF (nanofiltration) and other water treatment industries.
