Ferrous chloride tetrachloride Product Introduction:
Ferrous chloride is an inorganic substance, chemical formula FeCl2. Green to yellow. Soluble in water, ethanol and methanol. FeCl2·4H2O is a clear blue-green monoclinic crystal. Density 1.93 g/cm 3, deliquescent. In the air, part of it oxidizes to grass green and gradually oxidizes to ferric chloride in the air. Anhydrous ferrous chloride is a yellow-green hygroscopic crystal, which forms a light green solution after being dissolved in water. Tetrahydrate salt, when heated to 36.5℃ becomes dihydrate salt.
Properties: gray-green or blue-green monoclinic crystal or crystalline powder.
Ferrous chloride tetrachloride Usage :
1. Used as analytical reagent, reducing agent and mordant.
2. Used in metallurgical industry. Used as mordant, analytical reagent, metallurgy and sewage treatment, etc.
3. Used for ultra-high pressure lubricating oil components, also used for photography.
