Potassium bicarbonate Introduction:
Potassium bicarbonate is a kind of inorganic substance, chemical formula is KHCO3, has a colorless transparent monoclinic crystal structure. It has a relative density of 2.17 g/cm³ and is stable in air. Is the production of potassium carbonate, potassium acetate, potassium arsenite raw materials.
Potassium bicarbonate Usage:
Potassium bicarbonate is widely available and therefore relatively inexpensive.
Acidity modifiers: Such as wine additives, added in small amounts to carbonated beverages to improve taste.
Fire extinguishing agent: as a special dry powder fire extinguishing agent for airports, the fire extinguishing effect is twice that of sodium bicarbonate.
Agriculture: used as a soil acid improver. It is also a permitted pesticide for use in organic farming due to its anti-insect and anti-bacterial effects (e.g., leucorrhoea leaf and black star of apple).
